4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Ownership Rights

Users retain ownership of original content they create and submit through the platform, including forum posts, assignment submissions, shared exercises, collaborative projects, and feedback. However, by submitting content to Givdren, users grant us specific rights as outlined below.

4.2 License Grant

By uploading, posting, or submitting content to our platform, you grant Givdren a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that content in connection with providing and promoting our services. This license continues even if you stop using our services, but only for content that has been shared with other users or incorporated into collaborative projects.

4.3 Responsibility for User Content

Users represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights to any content they submit, and that such content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Users agree to indemnify Givdren against any claims arising from their submitted content.

5. Educational Materials and Course Content

5.1 Instructor-Created Content

Educational materials created by Givdren instructors specifically for our platform are jointly owned by the instructor and Givdren, unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement. Instructors retain the right to use their own materials outside the platform but grant Givdren perpetual rights to use the materials within our educational services.

5.2 Student Use Rights

Enrolled students receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials solely for personal educational purposes. Students may not:

Reproduce or distribute course materials to non-enrolled individuals
Use materials for commercial purposes
Modify or create derivative works from course content
Remove copyright notices or attribution
Share access credentials with others
Record, screenshot, or capture content for redistribution

6. Copyright Infringement Claims
